Variety has published today an exclusive clip from the one of the opening scenes from the upcoming season of “Masters of Sex”, which will premiere next July 12.
The third season of the Showtime drama, which stars Michael Sheen and Caplan as sex researchers Masters and Johnson, is set in 1965 — just as sexual liberation is heating up. Coincidentally, it’s also the year before the duo published their groundbreaking research text, “Human Sexual Response.” But, as the clip suggests, Masters and Johnson had a rough road ahead before their book was to be taken seriously — even if they might have patched up their personal relationship since last season’s finale.
Lizzy and her Masters of Sex co-stars attended last night a Showtime and Sony Pictures’s ‘Masters Of Sex’ screening at Cary Grant Theater in Culver City, California. She was looking beautiful in a colorful floor-length Mary Katrantzou paisley dress, as you can see in the pictures below:
Masters of Sex season three will premiere on July 12.
Lizzy Caplan keeps it chic and classy at the 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City. She looked gorgeous in a Donna Karan Atelier one shoulder dress, and you can find several HQ images added in our gallery.
The entertainment industry will join together for the 4th Annual Reel Stories, Real Lives (RSRL) event benefiting MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund) later this week.
The evening will celebrate the Next Generation of entertainment industry leaders, and share the extraordinary stories of those who have benefited from the services provided by MPTF.
Kate Bosworth, Lizzy Caplan, Tony Goldwyn, Tobey Maguire, Amanda Peet, and more will read powerful stories of industry members who have benefitted from MPTF’s services over the years, written by some of Hollywood’s leading feature and television writers including Bill Dubuque, Jason Fuchs, Jason Hall, John Hoffman and Beau Willimon. For the first time ever, a special tribute will be given to Kevin Spacey in honor of his dedication to MPTF.
The event will take place next Saturday, April 25, 2015 on MILK Studios Hollywood and you can find more about it here.
Happy new year! I mean, finally Lizzy decided to show her pretty self (now that shooting of Now You See Me 2 is over) and attended today the Variety Actors on Actors for the Emmy Edition. The series have conversations between television actors who are contending for Emmy Awards. Lizzy (for her work on Masters of Sex) just finished to shoot her interview with Allison Janney, and I have some pictures added to our gallery.
The Emmy edition of “Variety Studio: Actors on Actors” will premiere at 7 p.m. June 14 on PBS SoCal, and will then be distributed to PBS stations across the country in July. A second episode airs at 7 p.m. on June 21. The interviews will also air on WNET/WLIW in New York and will stream on Variety.com beginning in June.
Our gallery moving is almost done. Today I have moved basically all already capped TV projects (but Party Down) from our old gallery to the new one, sorted a little bit removing blurry/extra pics, and added some “Related” promo stills our site didn’t have before.
I’ve updated the gallery with almost 2500 HQ pictures of all events I could find Lizzy attended between 2003 and 2014. Some pictures our old gallery didn’t have, and those it did I replaced with HQ size. Check it:
I have updated the gallery with promotional images, posters and HD screencaptures of 2012 film Frankie Go Boom, starred by Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Nora Dunn and more. Credits for the screen captures goes to Carol (thank you!!).
